🤯 of the week: stare at the circle for 20 seconds. Woah.
🤔 of the week: i'm married and totally missed the dating app wave. But can someone plz educate me: how is hours swiping + hours small talking every week an acceptable product experience? The truth is - hinge, tinder, bumble do everything in their power to force this scenario. Their biz models REQUIRE high volume, low efficacy. "Sign up in <60 secs, check out allllll of these candidates... then pay us to make your search more efficient..." Now would be a good time to create a competitor that drop kicks all the small talk and swiping out of the experience. Something that gives you only one (perfect) candidate per day. If no interest, have to wait 24 hours for the next one.
