• ​Stadium Golf - play golf at your favorite baseball stadium during off-hours. Love these types of businesses - make use of an idle asset, wins across the board.
• ​The Lil Gulp - the ultimate dog water bottle. The owner of Maxine the Fluffy Corgi has parlayed famous pet into big business. They started with a dog backpack, now want to build the "nike of the pet industry."
• ​Sunrise - hims/hers but for Ozempic. Telehealth appt -> instant access to weight loss prescription. I'm both optimistic and terrified of this trend. Society-scale weight loss is a good thing. Healthier, happier people, less 'weight' on the healthcare system. But this is fundamentally a band-aid to the problem, and there are big TBDs on longer term health consequences.
• ​QuikTrip - yes, the gas station, is a fascinating biz. $11B family owned. Each store does $10M/yr. They own 18 urgent cares and have a super secretive site selection process. Worth a read

🤯 of the week: Tesla is officially the lowest cost car to maintain over a 10-year time frame, per Consumer Reports. Surprising!

🤔 of the week: plastic-free, clean water, seed oil free, clean ingredients. People are eager to find "good for you" products, but it's still too hard. There should be a Wirecutter for clean products - the cleanest facial care, shampoos, water brands, etc. A trusted source that does that research for you, then recommends a few products in each category.
